This guide brings together the practical details for your stay, from using the appliances to checking out. If you need a hand, please contact MUSE.
Laugavegur 37, 101 Reykjavík, IcelandCheck-in begins at 3:00 PM. Your access instructions arrive before you do. The house uses a smart lock, so there are no keys to collect.
If you'll arrive much earlier or later than planned, let us know.
We can't guarantee early check-in, as it depends on housekeeping. If your apartment is ready sooner, we'll gladly let you in. In the meantime, you're welcome to leave your bags in the luggage room and start exploring.
A luggage storage room is available at Laugavegur 37, on the garden floor, to the right of apartment 101, for guests arriving before check-in or departing after check-out.
It's unattended, so it is shared with other guests staying in the building — please keep valuables, passports, electronics, medication, and important documents with you rather than in stored luggage. We're not able to guarantee the safety of anything left there, so we'd rather you didn't leave anything you'd hate to lose.
Use the same code as for your apartment. It's available for you the day you arrive and until 22:00 the day you check out.
You can stop briefly in front of Laugavegur 37 to unload, but don't leave the car there. Fines are steep.
There's no free parking at the house. For overnight stays, the nearby garages are the easiest and usually the cheapest option:
Street parking nearby is paid and fairly expensive. Pay with the EasyPark or Parka app, or by card at a meter. No ticket needs to be displayed, because enforcement is linked to your registration number.
The most reliable nearby charger is Virta at Laugavegur 90, about 10 minutes' walk (map). There's a closer Virta charger at Laugavegur 7, but non-electric cars often block it.
Pay through the provider's app (ON, Ísorka or Virta). Most stations use Type 2 connectors.
